Donna M. Kindsfater, 80, of Watertown, passed away at her home on Monday, October 13, 2014, surrounded by her loving family.
A Celebration of Donna’s Life will be held at the Hafemeister Funeral Home on Monday, October 20, 2014 from 6 to 8 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the charity of one’s choice.

Donna May Cooper was born in Granville on March 27, 1934, daughter of Elbert V. and Lillian (Darrow) Cooper.
On June 25, 1954, she married Arthur Kindsfater. Arthur preceded her in death on January 1, 1992.
Donna and Arthur had a dairy farm in the Watertown area, and from that, her grandchildren referred to her as “Grandma Moo”. She had also been employed at the Watertown Walmart for almost 20 years, in the snack bar and shoe department.
Donna loved gardening and enjoyed animals and the outdoors. She was a member of the Women of the Moose in Watertown.
Survivors include her four children, Kathleen (Dennis) Betschler of Watertown; Ruth (Robert) Alford of Terrell, TX; Arthur (Carolyn) Kindsfater of Pueblo West, CO; Edward (Tammy) Kindsfater of Townsend; eighteen grandchildren, Dennis (Mattea) Betschler, Katherine (Kyle) Zastrow, Jessica (Matt) Hillebrand, Dannen Betschler, Devin (Michelle) Betschler, Scott (Lynsey) Wolfgram, Erika (Duane) Thomsen, Robert Wolfgram, Randall Wolfgram, Jennifer Jennings, Douglas Alford, Raeanna Alford, Michelle Alford, Justin Ward, Jason (Malia) Ward, Jodi (Ben) Shelhammer, Justin Kortendick and Jenna (Jake) Yingling; fourteen great grandchildren; two sisters, Audrey L. (William) Hagerty and Vicki L. (Russell) Zimmer; a brother, Robert (Christine) Cooper, nieces, nephews, other relatives, friends and her German Shepherd, Audey.
Donna was also preceded in death by her parents; a grandson, David A. Betschler; a great granddaughter, Jasmine Thomsen; two sisters, Beverly “Jean” (William) Drumel, Laurene A. Reich and a brother, John F. (Barbara) Cooper.
