Hafemeister Funeral Home And Cremation Service
Ardelle E. Suhr
Service: November 20, 2012
Ardelle E. Suhr
Ardelle E. Suhr, age 88, of Watertown, our mom, our grandmother and our great-grandmother, fell asleep in the arms of our Savior, Jesus, on Wednesday. Her soul is forever safe with the Lord. Through faith in Jesus she is God’s child forever. Her sins have been forgiven by the blood of the Lamb, Jesus. Her body now waits for the great resurrection day when Jesus returns. On that day, Jesus will raise her body and change it to be like His body, a glorified body, which will never die but will live in the mansions of Heaven forever. What a comfort this is to us, her family, whom she taught these truths.
Ardelle Evelyn Nelson was born in the Town of Lebanon on August 19, 1924, daughter of Edward and Eva (Dornfeld) Nelson. On August 19, 1944, she married Wilmer E. Suhr at St. Luke’s Lutheran Church in Watertown.
Ardelle was a member of St. Mark’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Watertown and had been a long time member of Bethany Lutheran Church in Hustisford, where she had been a member of the Bethany Lutheran Church choir and the ladies aid.
