Wellington Wallace Kerr was born on August 22, 1946 in Union City, Pennsylvania. On February 1, 1969 he married Kristine Wold at Bashford Methodist Church in Madison. Bill was a ‘jack of all trades’ who
enjoyed meeting people. As a young man, he spent hours working on cars and racing in stockcar events.
He graduated from MATC, Milwaukee, with an Associate Degree in Real Estate and spent several years
as a Real Estate Broker. Then a friend suggested he try driving a semi-truck – he spent 30 years driving
to all parts of the country. In his spare time, he loved working on computers, starting with one using a
8-track tape for memory up to 4-unit inhouse network for an employer. He also enjoyed helping friends with various around-the-house repair projects.
Bill is survived by his wife, Kristine Kerr of Watertown; daughter, Laura Murin of Burlington; granddaughter, Mikayla Murin; sisters, Virginia Seath of Union City, PA, Margaret Foster of Cleveland Heights, OH and Shirley Kerr of Mobile, AL as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, son-in-law, Alan Murin and sister, Nancy.
The family would like to give a special thank you to the staff at William S. Middleton Memorial Veterans Hospital in Madison for their wonderful care.
