Raymond O. Rabbach, 91, of Watertown, passed away on Friday, November 21, 2014 at Marquardt Health Center in Watertown.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 25, 2014 at 3pm at Hafemeister Funeral Home in Watertown with Rev. Anthony Schultz of St. Luke’s Lutheran Church officiating. Burial will be at Glenview Memorial Gardens in Ixonia.
Relatives and friends may gather at the funeral home on Tuesday from 1pm until the time of the service. Hafemeister Funeral Home and Cremation Service of Watertown is serving the family. Online condolences may be made at www.hafemeisterfh.com.
Raymond Otto Rabbach was born on August 8, 1923 in Watertown, the son of Henry and Emma (Schuenke) Rabbach. On July 19, 1952 he married Elizabeth “Betty” Zoellick at St. Luke’s Lutheran Church in Watertown.
Ray served in the United States Army for two years. He farmed and enjoyed working on cars. Ray was also a superintendent for the Watertown Street Department. After his retirement he spent a lot of his time working on various projects. He was a member of St. Luke’s Lutheran Church in Watertown.
Ray is survived by his wife, Betty of Watertown; two sons David (Dawn) Rabbach of McFarland; Thomas Rabbach of Two Rivers; four grandchildren Dustin (Jessica) Rabbach, Cory Rabbach, Trevor Rabbach, Alexander Rabbach; a great-granddaughter, Olivia Rabbach; a brother, Henry Rabbach and brother-in-law, Harvey Neubauer, nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his four brothers, Carl Rabbach, Paulus Rabbach, Fred Rabbach, Walter Rabbach; five sisters: Edna Ohrmundt, Gertrude Neubauer, Florence Baum, Esther Brown, and Adeline Heiser.
