Fay E. Joseph, 72, of Oconomowoc, passed away on Tuesday, November 20, 2018 at the University of Wisconsin Hospital in Madison.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, November 26, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Watertown with Rev. Todd Iverson officiating. Relatives and friends may gather at the church at 10:00 a.m. on Monday. An additional visitation will be held on Sunday, November 25, 2018 from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Hafemeister Funeral Home in Watertown. Memorials, if desired, may be directed to the church. Fay Ellen Hutson was born on June 15, 1946 to Floyd and Ruth (nee Kollath) Hutson in Watertown. On October 6, 2007, Fay married James Joseph at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Watertown. She was employed at Lindberg in Watertown in the office for many years. Fay was later employed at the Watertown Family Practice in Watertown. Fay was an active member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Watertown. She enjoyed spending time with friends, bowling, quilting, and singing.
Fay is survived by her husband of 11 years, James Joseph of Oconomowoc; daughter, Michelle (Tony) Fendt of Cookeville, TN; grandchildren, Alisha Schmidt, Brandon Schmidt; step-son, Jeff Joseph of Jefferson; step-granddaughter, Emily Joseph; step-great-grandchildren, Eli Joseph, Gabe Joseph, Gracy Joseph; siblings, Linda (Dean) Slaughter, Gayle (Vern) Meyer, Larry (Nancy) Hutson, Douglas Hutson, Walt (Kathy) Joseph; brother-in-law, Bill (Dee) Timm; sisters-in-law, Dorothy Joseph, Loreen Morlok, Lorena Joseph, Barbara Hutson; special friend, Bev Weihert; as well as aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Daniel Schmidt; great-grandson, Treyven Schmidt in infancy; brothers-in-law, Heb (Gloria) Joseph, Ed (Vivian) Joseph, Wilber Joseph, Louis (Phillis) Joseph, Jerry Joseph; brothers, Scott Hutson in infancy, Steven Hutson.
