William “Bill” E. Langholff, age 67, of Watertown, passed away on Thursday, November 24, 2016 at Golden Living Center in Fort Atkinson.
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, November 30, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Luke’s Lutheran Church in Watertown with Rev. Anthony Schultz and Rev. Mark Gartner officiating. Burial will take place at Lakeview Cemetery in Fort Atkinson. Visitation will take place on Tuesday from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the Hafemeister Funeral Home and at the church on Wednesday from 12:00 noon until the time of the service. William Ernest Langholff was born on March 3, 1949 in Fort Atkinson, the son of Ernest Otto and Ruth (nee Talcott) Langholff. He was a 1968 graduate of Lakeside Lutheran High School in Lake Mills. On September 11, 1982 he married Diane Manke at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church in Watertown. Bill had been employed at Miller Auto, which later became Bumper to Bumper, until his retirement. He was a member of St. Luke’s Lutheran Church in Watertown. He was an avid Green Bay Packer and Milwaukee Brewer fan. Bill enjoyed hunting and painting. He was a train buff and enjoyed collecting frogs.
Bill is survived by his wife, Diane Langholff of Watertown; daughter, Amy (fiancé Calvin Heintz Jr.) Schlesner, also of Watertown; two grandchildren, Hunter and Timothy Schlesner; sister, Mary Langholff of Green Bay as well as brothers-in-law, Jim Homman of Fort Atkinson and Dennis (Becky) Manke of Watertown.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Catherine Langholff.
