Robert G. Boyd, 93, of Lebanon, passed away on Friday, December 13, 2019 at Northview Heights in Juneau.
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, December 18, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at Hafemeister Funeral Home in Watertown with Chaplain Steve Steele of Rainbow Hospice officiating. Burial will be in Pilgrimís Rest Cemetery in Lebanon. Relatives and friends may call to pay their respects at the funeral home on Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Friends of Clearview or to the charity of oneís choice. Hafemeister Funeral Home and Cremation Service of Watertown is serving the family. Robert Goodman Boyd was born on November 19, 1926 in New Berlin, the son of Wallace and Ruth (nee Goodman) Boyd. On October 9, 1948 he married Claretta A. Woelfel at Holy Apostles Church in New Berlin. Claretta preceded him in death on May 6, 2012. Robert, along with his wife, farmed in the Town of Lebanon.
Robert is survived by his eight children: Christine Boyd of Watertown, Sharon Kuphal of Mosinee, Richard Boyd of Watertown, Catherine (Walter) Miller of Valders, Wayne (Debby) Boyd of Watertown, Brent (Karen) Boyd of Lebanon, Barbara Boyd of Watertown and Bruce (Rhonda) Boyd of Watertown; and daughter-in-law, Sheila Boyd of Waukesha; 16 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; one sister, Arlene (Otto) Ebeling; sisters-in-law, Vivian Boyd and Shirley Boyd; brothers-in-law Roger Woelfel and George Woelfel, as well as other relatives and friends.
He was further preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Claretta; son, Allen Boyd; son-in-law, Buzz Kuphal; brothers: George Boyd, Wallace Boyd, Albert Boyd, Alvin Boyd; sisters: Ruth Stigler, Eileen Bruss; sisters-in-law: Mildred Boyd, Marion Woelfel, Lucille Halvorson, Joan Woelfel; brothers-in-law: Joe Stigler, Ray Bruss and Marty Halvorson.
The family would like to thank Jessica Strean and the staff of Northview Heights in Juneau for the wonderful care they provided to Robert, and the staff of Rainbow Hospice.
