Ronald and Mildred Bohn
Ronald H. Bohn, 82, of Watertown, passed away in the afternoon on Sunday, December 15, 2019 at River View Assisted Living in Watertown.
Mildred E. Bohn, 79, of Watertown, passed away in the evening on Sunday, December 15, 2019 at River View Assisted Living in Watertown.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, December 21, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Markís Lutheran Church in Watertown with Rev. Karl Walther officiating. Burial will take place at Lutheran Cemetery in Watertown. Family and friends may gather at Hafemeister Funeral home on Friday evening from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. and at the the church on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Memorials, if desired, may be directed to the church or charity of oneís choice. Hafemeister Funeral Home and Cremation Service of Watertown is serving the family. Ronald Herman Bohn was born on March 11, 1937 in Watertown, the son of Herman A. and Gertrude (nee Huebner) Bohn. He attended kindergarten at Rock School in Watertown followed by St. Markís Lutheran Grade School in Watertown and Watertown High School. He served in the United States Army from 1955-1957. He then worked at Fiberesson.
Mildred Ellen Schoenherr was born on December 21, 1939 in the Town of Lebanon, the daughter of Oliver and Nora (nee Hoppe) Schoenherr. She attended kindergarten at St. Johnís Lutheran School in Ashippun followed by St. Johnís Lutheran Grade School in Watertown. She was a 1957 graduate of Watertown High School. She then worked at Kuselís in Watertown.
Ronald and Mildred were united in marriage on June 20, 1959 at St. Markís Lutheran Church in Watertown. Together, they dairy farmed in Watertown for 30 years. They both enjoyed their Sheepshead card club for many years. Ron enjoyed his grass mowing jobs and coffee breaks at Zwiegís. Millie was an avid baker and enjoyed gardening and canning.
They are survived by their children, Daniel Bohn of Watertown and Julie Bernhagen of McFarland; grandchildren, Becky (Mike Abendroth) Bohn of Jefferson, Shelly (James) Grosenick of Lebanon, Aaron (Marisa) Bohn of Watertown, Felicia Bohn of Columbus, Leah (Jake) Poulos of Fitchburg and Paul Bernhagen of McFarland; great-grandchildren, Katelynn Abendroth, Brennen Abendroth, Madalynn Grosenick, Tucker Grosenick and Lillian Bohn; Ronaldís brothers, Lawrence (Betty) Bohn of Sussex and Donald (Lynn) Bohn of Watertown; sister-in-law, LuRae Bohn as well as nieces, nephews, and other family and friends.
They were preceded in death by their parents; infant daughter, Kathleen Bohn; infant granddaughter, Christa Bohn; infant grandson, Patrick Bernhagen; Ronaldís siblings, Ralph Bohn and Vivian (James) Hissom; Mildredís siblings, Lois (Roland) Christian and Leroy (Shirley) Schoenherr and nephew, Bruce Hissom.
