Fredric E. Busler, age 83, of Watertown, passed away on Wednesday, December 27, 2017 at Watertown Regional Medical Center.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, December 30, 2017 at 12:00 p.m. at St. Johnís Lutheran Church in Watertown with Rev. Rodney Warnecke officiating. Burial with Military Graveside Rites will take place at Lutheran Cemetery in Watertown. Family and friends may gather at the church from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service. Memorials, if desired, may be directed to the church or the charity of oneís choice. Hafemeister Funeral Home and Cremation Service of Watertown is serving the family. Fredric Eugene Busler was born on July 24, 1934 in Watertown, the son of Fredric H. and Ethel (nee Austin) Busler. Fred served in the United States Navy. On November 1, 1958, he was united in marriage to Carol Hoefs at St. Johnís Lutheran Church in Watertown. Fred had been employed at Lindbergís Hevi Duty in Watertown for thirty-six years, retiring in 1999. He was a member of St. Johnís Lutheran Church in Watertown where he served on various boards. He also was a member of the Izaak Walton League and the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers. Fred was an outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing. He taught hunters safety for over twenty-five years and was a member of the Watertown Rifle Team. He was an avid Green Bay Packer and Milwaukee Brewer fan. Fred enjoyed golfing and traveling, especially out west. Fred loved spending time with his family.
Fred is survived by his wife Carol Busler of Watertown; children, Randall (Julie) Busler of Watertown, Brian (Jane) Busler of Oregon, WI and Jon (Kathy) Busler of Jefferson; grandchildren, Sara (Evan) Strangstalien, Emily (Collin) Tarras, Abby Busler, Austin Busler, Kyle Busler, Jacob Busler and Kendal Busler; great-grandchildren, Cal and Emery Strangstalien; brother, Robert (Connie) Busler of Watertown as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents.
